A Study of Relationship between Cultural Intelligence with Job Adjustment and Organizational Trust

The purpose of the peresent study is to investigate the relationship between Cultural intelligence with job adjustment and Organizational trust among Urmia University faculty members during the Academic Year 2009-2010. The research is descriptive of correlational type. The statistical population of the study covers the whole 350 faculity members of Urmia University among whom 178 subjects were selected as sample size through using Morgan table. The Statistical analysis used in the study is descriptive and inferential (frequency، percent، cumulative percent، charts، Pearson، s correlation cofficient، variance and Regression analysis). The results of the findings indicate that there are significant relations between cultural intelligence and job adjustment. Also، the results indicate that there are significant relations between cultural intelligence and organizational trust، and significant relations between job adjustment and organizational trust. But the relation between behavioral aspects of cultural intelligence and organizational trust was not significant. Based on the findings of the present study، job adjustment among the academic members can be predicted around 26% by the independent variables of cultural intelligence and trust.
