Efficient Implementation of Electronic Training and the Effect whereof on the Economic Performance of the Managers of Tehran Municipality

Abstract:
On-the-job training in organizations is one of the methods of empowering the staff; such trainings are gradually inclined to electronic ones due to the development of technology. One of the criticisms leveled against organizational trainings is their ineffectuality and many believe that the new approach can make it much more effective. The current article aims at making an investigation into the effect of on-the-job e-training on the economic performance of municipal managers through making the training effective. The population of the study was all the managers of different districts of the municipality of Tehran from among whom 360 were randomly selected. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire the reliability and validity indexes of which were estimated through standard methods. Research hypotheses were tested using Spearman's correlation coefficient and Structural Equations. The results indicated that the advantages of implementing e training have significant effects on training effectuality which improve the economic performance of the very managers.
