The Effectiveness of Tehran Police Command Methods in Dealing with Moral Norm Violators

Bad dressing phenomenon has been the subject of religious, military, cultural, social and political communities of the country for years. In this vein, the aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Tehran Police Command methods in dealing with moral norm breakers (bad dressing phenomena), the type of model and illicit relations between boys and girls in public places in the form of moral security plan of Tehran Police Command. This study is of a survey research type. The population of the study includes two groups of bad dressing individuals and the expert police in this field. The sample size for the two communities was estimated via Cochran formula as 98 and 84, respectively. The data were collected using a valid and reliable questionnaire (α =. 80) and then analyzed using SPSSsoftware and the variance analysis and Thai Kendall tests.Findings and The study showed that in general the use of countermeasures and preventive methods used by the police in the fight against the phenomenon of bad dressing has different effects. The police practices against bad dressing individuals were more countermeasuremethods and it has led to the efficacy reduction of moral security plan in controlling them.
