Effectiveness of group play therapy on behavior problems in preschool children

Problem areas: behavioral disorders, creates many individual and social problems. Children with this disorder, family, school and community with various issues and challenges facing them in the face of turmoil, psychological and socio-teens and even adults, are vulnerable. The purpose of this study, the effectiveness of play therapy in preschool children's behavioral problems. 20 children aged 4 to 6 years who have had behavioral problems, were selected randomly in the experimental and control groups of 10 people were. The instrument used in this study, a 27-item questionnaire was designed behavioral problems. Participants received 10 sessions of group play therapy. Data were analyzed using ANCOVA. Results showed that the mean scores of behavior problems in the experimental group decreased significantly at post-test than the control group (p=0/0001). The findings demonstrated the effectiveness of group play therapy on preschool children's behavioral problems.
