The effect of relative lower leg length on stretch-shortening cycle kinematics during counter movement jump in physical education female students

Background And Aim
Anthropometric and stretch-shortening cycle are determine and important factor to perform optimal performance. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of lower limb length on kinematic wheel traction - traction in vertical jump performance against the motion.
Materials And Methods
15 students sitting height ratio of less than 52 (group 1) and 17 students sitting height ratio greater than 55 (group 2) were studied. The subjects were free of any lower extremity injury or illness in the zone. The organs of the pelvis، thigh، calf and ankle on the right side of the body using light reflective spherical markers were identified. The system uses six cameras MOTION ANALYSIS 3D kinematics counter movement jump subjects variables were measured and recorded. Statistical analysis of the test Idepended Sample T-test with a significance level of α = 0. 05 was used.
Results
Results showed that the speed of the eccentric contraction of the knee extensor muscles plasticizers in groups 1 and 2 respectively 68/18 ± 01/127 and 77/23 ± 64/119 the difference between them was not significant (P =0/281). Concentric contractions of the knee extensor muscles plasticizers well as in groups 1 and 2 respectively and 89/26 ± 94/255 36/35 ± 37/266 was no significant difference between them (P =0 / 280).
Conclusion
It can be concluded that the ratio of lower limb stretch-shortening cycle will have little effect as crucial factor in the effective implementation cycle of tension - not contraction.
