On the Relationship between Knowledge Transfer and Performance of the Departments of Second Grade of Secondary School

Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the relationship between knowledge transfer in secondary school teachers and performance of the departments. In this paper 360 participants were selected from among 5598 teachers of the second grade of secondary school in Mashhad based on multistage cluster sampling. In this descriptive, correlational study, data were collected through a Knowledge transfer questionnaire which is based on Nonaka Model and performance assessment form of Education General Administration. Findings revealed that there is a positive significant relationship between implicit knowledge transfer of teachers and departments performance. Moreover, there is significant relationship among departments in level of knowledge transfer. Although there is not any significant relationship between knowledge transfer and some variables like work experience and educational degree, but it is vice versa in gender as another variable.
