The effectiveness of mindfulness and metacognition training on Organizational citizenship Behavior

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of metacognition and mindfulness training on Organizational citizenship Behavior (OCB). Semi-experimental research method was used. The population of all teachers studying at the Farhangian University of North Khorasan (Bojnoord) 93-1392 academic year are the total number of 540 student. Using cluster random sampling three classes of 90 students were selected randomly In the experimental group (60 cases) and control group (30 cases).
To one of the experimental groups were taught mindfulness and metacognition to others group. Questionnaire to measure Organizational citizenship Behavior Podskoff and colleagues (1990) were used. Data analysis was performed using multivariate analysis of covariance.
Results showed that OCB in metacognition and mindfulness training teachers Groups Were significantly higher than the control group teachers.
