Explaining the Role of Human Dignity in Enhancing of Spirituality

During the human life Spirituality has been regarded as a desirable thing and much effort has been made to strengthen it. Several factors will empower spirituality, but, among these factors, human dignity is fundamental and plays a central role. In this paper the concept of spirituality will be explained and also the importance of human dignity in spiritual character is emphasized. In addition the effect of human dignity in enhancing of spirituality is discussed; furthermore it will be proved that the origin of spirituality is considering of inherent and acquired dignity and also religious practice; on the contrary, the origin of spiritual deprivation is neglect and lack of attention to the status of divine spirit of human being.
