Criticism of the Orientalist's views on the Role of the Clergy in the Formation of the Islamic Revolution

The current study answers to the question that; what is the Orientals` analysis about the role of Shiite clergy in the formation of the Islamic revolution? First, based on the hypothesis of this paper, Orientals’ major analysis that is influenced by comparison with the Lord of the church, is based on east-knowing assumptions and secular view. Given this fact, the above analysis is not compatible with Islamic principles. Second, this view claims that clergy`s marital and political motives led to the revolution in Iran, while the truth is contrary. The fact remains that this study tries to have a criticizing confrontation by misinterpretations and the impact of published views on behalf of the orientalists in scientific circles.
