The study of role of Teacher group organizational citizenship behavior on primary school effectiveness

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to investigate the role of group organizational citizenship behavior on effectiveness of the girl's primary schools in Tehran. To carry out this study, descriptive study (correlation) is used. The population of this research consisted of primary school teachers in 2 district of Tehran in the academic year 94-93. Optimized sample through the sampling volume was determined that 395 teachers were chosen randomly distributed between them. In this study, two main research tool is a questionnaire effectiveness questionnaire Parsons (1967) and group organizational citizenship behavior Vigoda-Gadot et al (2007). To calculate and determine the reliability of Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used. Pearson correlation analysis to examine the relationship between the study variables and the dependent variable variance for multiple regression analysis were used. Results showed a significant positive correlation between the group organizational citizenship behavior and school effectiveness there. As well as group organizational citizenship behavior would explain the 52/7% of the variance in school effectiveness.
