Management of Effective Factors on Non-Academic Study in the Female schools

Abstract:
Aim and
Background
The main purpose of this research was to evaluate the amount and type of non-academic studies and effective factors on Najaf Abad high school students.
Materials And Methods
In this descriptive-survey study, the population was consisting of female students in the four Najaf Abad high school (568 persons), that 113 persons were selected as a sample using clustering random sampling method. The tool was questionnaire contains 20 questions that reliability coefficient was estimated using Cronbach's alpha of 0.84 percent. Non-academic studies factors were measured using a Likert scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS software in the two levels. Frequency, mean and percentage were used in the descriptive level and The T-test and Pearson correlation coefficient were used in the inferential statistics level.
Findings: Results showed the significant difference between non-academic studies of students in the fields of mathematical, humanities, experimental sciences (sig: 0.87). Average hours of pupils non-academic studies on the day is less than one hour and (1-2 hours) in the week. There is no significant difference between non-academic studies source and the fields; and magazines are the largest student's studies source. There is no significant difference between the type of students’ studies orientation to non-academic books and their fields; and there is significant difference between the type of students’ studies orientation to magazines and their fields (sig: 0.002). Also there is significant difference between non-academic studies and parents treat (sig: 0.01) and students’ high assignments and lessons (sig: 0.00).
Conclusions
Parents and school administrators should be pay attention that parents with a direct correlation and the homework volume with an indirect correlation are affected factors on non-academic studies; and teacher’s behavior has a little effect on non-academic studies.
