Stady the elements of interdisciplinary curriclum and explain the relevant principles

Abstract:
In present condition, the most important development in the curriculum is related to the change of paradigms and approaches as well as the production of new fields. Some education experts believe that achieving higher levels of learning objectives in the most traditional common curriculum is not possible and the possibility, can be provided through an interdisciplinary curriculum. The interdisciplinary curriculum is a view to knowledge and an approach to curriculum that consciously, uses the methodology and discourse in more than one scientific discipline to consider one subject, problem, title or a central experience. According to the relatively new interdisciplinary approach in Iran , this paper by documents and by reference to the available resources to study the basic elements of interdisciplinary curriculum such as the purpose, content, teaching-learning and evaluation strategies and in order to explain and derive the basic principles relating to these elements has tried. The elements of interdisciplinary curriculum are different from the traditional curriculum , because of its important characteristics such as integration of disciplines and teamwork and as well as the principles derived from the elements are the specific features of this curriculum approach.
