Spatial Analysis of Regional Development In Markazi province to achieve a balanced development

Today,unreasonable and unjust allocation of resources and facilities to certain areas and the deprivation of other areas of this facility has caused regional inequalities.A topic that reflects it in the geographic landscape of cities and their heterogeneous growth in the cities of Iran can also be found. Hence, regional studies are proposed to create a balance and to form suitable and coherent spaces. The purpose of regional studies is to find the abilities and capacity of each region for growth and development.This study aimed to determine the degree of development of various sectors of economic, social, cultural city of the central province and ranking them based on the development of descriptive approach–analytical method and using techniques decisions multivariate TOPSIS, SAW, VIKOR and Numerical Taxonomy. The results of the techniques used were compared with the Copland method. In this study, in order to identify and determine the degree of development of each city in the Markazi province, using the latest statistics and information in the statistical yearbooks,53 indicators in health, Infrastructure and services have been studied.The findings of this research show the lack of homogeneous and balanced distribution of facilities and services in the provinces of Markazi province.As a result of the 12 cities of the province, the cities of Arak, Saveh and Khomein were ranked first, and the Kandab and Farahan cities were the last ranke. In general, the provinces of Markazi are not identical in terms of having the selected indicators and there are inequalities in the province.
