Social Mobility in Persian Novel since 1300-1350 The Study of Four Incomparable Novels

another one. This mobility happens in two vertical and horizontal methods. The main question of this research is the reflection of social classes’ mobility in persian novel discussed period. The descriptive-analytical research method has been by using library resources and considering the successful samples of these period novels. The result of research shows that noblesse social class, staffs, administrative and urban class has been the highest reflection from 1300 to 1325 in persian novel. In this period, the class difference and unhealthy social mobility are the most important issues raised in the novels. The middle class is emerging and the social mobility is more of a vertical type. Since 1325 to 1350, urban middle social class and especially deprived rural class, workers and farmers have been the highest reflection in novel. During this period, social mobility among middle and deprived classes is often of a horizontal type. In another word, it is shifting in subordinated jobs. For example, we are witnessing rural conversion and landless farmer to urban suburbia. Technical usage of modernity issue in industrial level like using devices such as machines and tractor and in cultural level such as using shoes, hat and European clothes without proper infrastructure and cultural consumption, causes some problems in creation of class difference and social mobility that has reflected and analyzed in novels of this period.
