The Relationship of Body Image and Obsessive Beliefs with Quality of Life in Married Students of Islamic Azad University of Rasht

The present aimed to investigate the relationship between body image and quality of life with obsessive beliefs were married students. In this investigation, all students married Azad University of Rasht that according to statistics from the Statistics Institute of Technology, University of 12101 people who were using Morgan table, a sample of 360 students (female=204,male=156) were selected using stratified random sampling. Questionnaire to collect information from your multidimensional body-relations (MBSRQ), obsessive belief questionnaire (OBQ-44) and World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire were also fed data analysis Pearson correlation, multiple regression using SPSS software was used. Results showed that between body image and obsessive beliefs are associated with quality of life for married students and important variables and control thoughts, attitudes about weight, about 7.6 percent of the variance in quality of life could justify. In other words, variables importance of thoughts control and the attitudes about weight , strength prediction criterion is quality of life. The results also showed that there is a relationship between body image and appearance quality of life and there is an inverse relation between self-obsession with quality of life.
