Intelligence Organizations as a Regulatory Arm (Comparative Analysis of Intelligence Function in the Achaemenid Period, Seljuk and Qajar)

Review of administrative agency of various governments that ruled on Iran at various periods, shows that almost all of these governments used from organizations or institutions with an intelligence function. With regard to the various functions that an intelligence agency can be served, at this article tried be examined three periods of Achaemenid period ) ancient history ( , Seljuk ) middle history ( and Qajar, from this viewpoint. Research results showed that despite the many differences that Kings of the above periods have from other angles, were defined same functions for intelligence agencies, that the most important aspect of that was monitoring of members of administrative and military units and specific form rulers of different states of Iran.
