Abstract:
Background and Purpose

The unveiling and flaunting (bad cover) phenomenonis a social issue that causes the prevalence of social, cultural and psychologicalanomalies and threatens social security and public health. Accordingly, the presentstudy aims to investigate the effects and consequences of the unveiling and flauntingphenomenon on social security among women over the age of 15 in Tehran.

Method

The research method is survey. Sample size based on the Cochranformula and with a probable accuracy of 0.04, 600 people. A multi-stage samplingmethod was used to answer the questionnaire questions and Cronbach's alphacoeffcient was used to ensure the reliability of the research tool. The results wereanalyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS software.

Findings

There is a direct (positive) relationship between unveiling and socialsecurity with a value of 0/513 and between the phenomenon of flaunting andsocial security with a value of 0/546. Also, the correlation coeffcient between socialsecurity and the mentioned variables is equal to (0.585) and F ratio indicates that therelationship between them is statistically signifcant (P <0.01). Therefore, there is asignifcant relationship between the six variables of social security research (offcesecurity (occupation), economic security, political security, cultural security, familysecurity and communication security) with unveiling and flaunting.

Result

Regarding the obtained regression equation, it can be concluded thatincreasing the amount of unveiling and flaunting the level of Worried about thesense of social security also increases. Based on multiple regression analysis, theobtained explanation was equal to 0.362 and the coeffcients B were unveiling 1.41and 2.338 flaunting, and the variables were signifcant
