Comparison of Health Hardness and Life Expectancy in Patients with Diabetes and Breast Cancer

Abstract:

Introduction The aim of this study was to compare the health hardness and life expectancy in patients with diabetes and cancer. The research was descriptive and causal-comparative. The statistical population of the study included all patients with breast cancer and type 2 diabetes referred to Kashani and Alzahra hospitals in Isfahan. A total of 468 patients (234 cancer patients and 234 diabetic patients) were selected by available sampling method. The research tools were Healthy Hardiness Questionnaire (Gibbart et al., 2001) and Life expectancy inventory (Miller, 1998). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and analysis of variance with SPSS software version 21.
