A game theory-based model for strategic decision-making in cyber warfare

Message:
Abstract:
In this paper, we use a game theory and construct an analytical model for decision making process in a cyber conflict. Players are clashes that identify vulnerabilities on each other's systems and intend to use it in an appropriate position to invade rivals. What do they want to know is a wise decision to make more profit in this confrontation? Compared to previous works, the assumptions of the problem are tied to the actual situation and the possibility of retaliation by the opposing side and the likelihood of attack failures are included in the definition of the game. The extended form has been used to display the game and Nash equilibrium has been calculated for it. By analyzing the results in a mixed strategy state, it is shown that game theory can offer suggestions on strategy selection and estimating the decision of the players.
