Abstract:

This paper presents an "integrated asphalt production and distribution planning model” for asphalt plants. The General Algebraic Modeling System (GAMS) used to code this model, different types of input data, such as (Dai) amount of required asphalt for a project, (Capj) plants production capacity, (dtij) distance between plants and projects, (Ctij) transportation costs and (Cpij) asphalt price are used as input model data and most important output result of this model is (Xijt) " amount of asphalt planned to produce and distribute form each plants to each projects in each period of time" that computed using CPLEX Solver. At the end of this paper, a numerical example about asphalt production planning during one year for 20 plants and distribution between 15 construction sites in Khuzestan is given to illustrate how the proposed model can be used.
