Assessment permeability of rock mass of the Asmari formation Khersan 2 dam

Khersan 2 dam Concrete is located 60 kilometers southwest of the Lordegan city. The upstream portion of the dam, the Lower Cretaceous formations Geology to the present Covenant, including Asmari, Gachsaran, Aghajari, Bakhtiari sediments present age outcrop. Abutment and bed Khersan 2 dam is located on the Asmari. To study the permeability of the dam abutment Asmari formation limestone mass is used of test results Lugeon and RQD. Lugeon test results at Asmari formation rock mass show that the right abutment permeability is less than the left abutment. RQD values mean more of the left abutment is on the right abutment. Compare Lugeon and RQD values in drill holes indicate that the increase of the number Lugeon RQD reduced. In order to better compare the permeability variations along the dam axis, three-dimensional models is provided by the RockWork 14 software. Three-dimensional models presented above confirms the results.
