Prioritize pedestrian’s immunity improvement solutions at the time of crossing route with use of fuzzy AHP
Since part of pedestrians is more than other route users among different kinds of morality arising from car accidents, it is necessary be taken effective steps to improve safety of mentioned group by proper management. One of the most important issues in management of routes Safety is determining priority of different execution strategies to safety improvement. It is necessary to consider criterions such as implementation costs, rate of effectiveness, the number of decision making organizations and duration of effectiveness to choosing strategies, in order to appropriate priority of present solutions. It is needy a multi-criterion decision making in order to involve the foregoing in management and priority. In this research, first, required data is prepared with filling out the questionnaires by experts in fields of safety transportation in order to evaluate options, and seven proposed strategies are prioritized with use of fuzzy analytical hierarchy process. Results indicates that the choice of training traffic rules to both pedestrians and drivers will be the most important factors to pedestrian`s safety improvement and also other choices are at next preference in this research
