Determine the rate of utilization of Web 2.0 technologies in information retrieval (Castudy Iranian digital libraries portals)

The purpose of study was to determine the rate of utilization of Web 2.0 technologies in data retrieval in the portal of Iranian digital libraries. This is an applied research. The method of research is survey and descriptive approach. The statistical population of study is digital librarians. The data gathering tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by the professors of this field and its reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha. The survey found that Web 2.0 technology was the least common percentage in e-mail (100%) and sites with social bookmarking and labeling (30%) were the least frequent. Regarding the impact of each Web 2.0 technology on data retrieval in the digital libraries portal, it was found that social networks (90%) and blogs (40%) had the least effect on data retrieval in the digital libraries portal have. According to the survey, the correlation between Web technologies 2 with each of the 1 data retrieval tools in digital libraries found that social indexing (60%) was most consistent with thematic listing, wiki (70%), most Comply with the thesaurus, social cataloging (55%) with the highest proportionality with trees and social networks (60%), with the most consistent fit with integrated search. Practical implications: According to the results of this study, it can be concluded that the lack of technical and high-speed Internet infrastructures is a major barrier to the use of Web technologies.
