The Effect of Raising the level of Consciousness based on Islamic Morality on the Psychological Well-Being of the Married Women in Yazd
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of raising the level of consciousness based on Islamic morality on the psychological well-being of the married women in Yazd. The sample consists of 30 married women from Yazd who were randomly divided into two groups and each group was then randomly divided into two groups: The experimental and control. The experimental group, had a training course on raising the level of consciousness based on morality and a plan was made for raising the level of consciousness based on Islamic morality versed in religious law. The research is an empirical study conducted on a pretest-posttest basis with an experimental group and a control group. The psychological well-being of the participants in survey was measured by Reif's Psychological Well-being Questionnaire on a pre-test and post-test basis and the experimental group had a ten- session training course on raising the level of consciousness based on Islamic morality. The data analysis done by analysis of covariance shows that the training course had a significant effect on the psychological well-being of the experimental group. Accordingly, it can be said that a training courses on raising the level of consciousness based on Islamic morality can lead to promoting in psychological well-being.
