Explaining the Talent Management Enhancement Model at Amin Police University
Creating conditions in which the skills of talented commanders are identified and used in appropriate areas. The main purpose of the research was explaining the talent management enhancement model of the line commanders of Amin Police University.
In terms of its objectives the present study is of an applied research type and in terms of its type it is considered as a descriptive-survey study and in terms of data collection procedure it is a qualitative study. The statistical population included all experts of Amin Police University, which was selected using purposive sampling method. The data collection tool was a semi-structured interview, which was conducted using Delphi technique and brainstorming. The analysis method was coding and the MAXQDA software was employed for data analysis.
The resulting model consisted of five dimensions, thirteen components and 87 indicators, firstly with five distinct dimensions, and, secondly, six new components were extracted for it, some of which, including excellence dimension and its three components of succession, organizational loyalty, managerial/organizational experience were not seen in similar models.
According to the obtained results, it is recommended to the officials that the dimensions of succession, organizational loyalty and managerial experience be employed in commanders' talent management.
