Abstract:

The Iranian zone has always been at risk of earthquakes due to being placed on the earthquake belt. The formation of large faults and the existence of active stress fields have made Iran prone to earthquakes. The purpose of the present study is to measure and evaluate the physical resilience of villages at risk of earthquakes (Case study: villages of Angirloo). In this research, descriptive-analytical method and survey information and libraries were used. The statistical population of the study consisted of villagers of Aynirloo, Akbarbood Gheshlaghi and Qizghali (N = 1642), considering the statistical population under study using Cochran's formula to extract statistical sample size (n = 311) with 5% error rate. For more accuracy, sample size 320 was selected and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine the quantitative reliability of the questionnaire. One-sample T-test was used to assess the residents' viewpoints on the mentioned components. The results show that the physical resiliency of the villages with the highest accessibility score (2.92) and the highest quality of passages and crossings (2.16) had the lowest score.
