An Analysis of the Effective Factors on the Process of Political Identity in the Islamic Republic of Iran

The objective of the present study is futurology of the process of political identity, aligned with developing an optimal perspective of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In this regard, the opportunities and challenges as result of some events such as globalization, media, and soft war that might be effective on future were studied. Using Trend Impact Analysis (TIA) as method in discovery future studies, this research highlighted some former and likely future procedures as well as important deriving forces in discovering the future of political identity in Iran. The results showed that future political identity in Iran is encountered with numerous opportunities and threats. By using the opportunities and modern communicative means, we can witness considerable increase in people’s participation, public trust, and sense of attachment to one’s country, on the one hand, and transparent, real, and sound relations with foreign countries on the other hand.
