Designing a strategy-based model for Human Resources Development inthe tourism industry and formulation a roadmap (Case study: Isfahanprovince)
The purpose of this study is to design a strategy-based model on the human resourcesdevelopment in the tourism industry of Isfahan province and to develop a roadmap forits implementation. In terms of purpose, this research is of applied and developmental research type and in terms of implementation method, it is considered as a descriptiveresearch of survey type and in terms of research plan, it is of exploratory mixed type.In the first stage of the research, all published researches related to the research topicwere analyzed using Meta-synthesis method which the results of this analysis were toidentify and classify 9 human resource development strategies. Then, by consulting 10experts and analyzing those using structural-interpretive modeling method, thesestrategies were Leveling and the relationships between them were determined.According to the results, at the lowest level, the strategy of "designing the model ofjob competencies of the tourism industry" and "designing the human resourceinformation system" has the greatest impact on other strategies and at the highest level of the strategy "Tourism industry" was the most dependent. Finally, using the intuitivefuzzy AHP technique, human resource development strategies of Tourism industrywere prioritized. The findings showed that designing the model of job competencies ofthe tourism industry, providing public education and subsidy allocation, and offering discounts on training courses are the most important strategies for the human resourcesdevelopment in the tourism industry in Isfahan province
