Abstract:

Intercultural communication as a cross-disciplinary is a combination of cultureand communication that has been well received by scholars and officials due toits coverage of various subjects. By examining the theoretical foundations of thisdiscipline, one can understand the importance and centrality of the concept ofdifference. In the current discipline, the difference is at the core of the categoriesand analyzes, so we see a variety of dimensions of cultural difference. Regardlessof the theoretical foundations of this discipline that, ironically, have a profoundlink to its application in the field, this research seeks to establish and expandedthis knowledge based on Islamic teachings the Qur’an as an eternal miracle ofIslam, a book of all truth and truth. In this regard, it has been attempted to delineate the theoretical frameworkof Quranic anthropology by using a descriptive-analytical method in the versesof the Qur’an. Therefore, it is tried to design the conceptual priority of thisframework in comparison with the existing framework of this knowledge inthe global arena, which can be considered as the innovation of this research. The findings of the study show that while the existing knowledge of westernintercultural communication focuses solely on individualism, the Qur’anrecognizes its differences as literal and at the same time does not refer to themas recognizing differences, and instead it refers to the common essence amonghumans called “Fitrat” which can imply in the aspect of insight and tendencyand wisdom in the aspect of insight and action. Hence, building a foundationintercultural communication, which is just a fundamental difference, in theIslamic view has two other foundations, namely, Fitrah and Wisdom. Thus thetripod of the intercultural communication building has a simultaneous look atdifference and similarity and will be able to adopt and execute policies with thedualities of individual-community, structure-agency, Synchronic - diachronicto succeed in the world and happiness in the hereafter. It may be possible topresent the comprehensiveness of the Islamic religion to a global audience interms of such dualities.
