An Analysis of the Aspects of National Security in the Theoretical Model of Islamic Rationality

In the course of research about a favorable theoretical model for national security in the Islamic Republic of Iran relying on the theoretical framework of transcended and tolerant security, the present research aims to explain different aspects of national security from the perspective of Islamic rationality. In this regard, this research focuses on the following fundamental questions: Does the intellectual movement of Islamic rationality consider just one aspect for security or does it have a multi-dimensional approach to security? Which aspect of security is regarded as a genuine foundation in Islamic rationality? The hypothesis of the study is that Islamic rationality approach puts emphasis on extensive security, and regards value-intellectual security as genuine so that its most important difference with Copenhagen school lies in its distinctive cognitive approach to security. The method of study was descriptive analysis and the results revealed that despite the significance of all aspects of security in Islamic society, the intellectual and cultural threats against the values and beliefs of people are the most important aspect in national security.
