The effect of emotional intelligence and social intelligence on conflict resolution solutions in female students (Case Study: Female students of Athar Technical and Vocational College of Arak)
Contradiction and incompatibility exist in any healthy relationship. And if managed properly, it will provide the growth of the individual. Therefore, individuals must learn the skills necessary to correctly manage conflicts, one of the most important skills of emotional intelligence and social intelligence. Accordingly, the main purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence and social intelligence on conflict resolution.
The statistical population of this study consists of 800 students in the technical and vocational college of girls in Arak. Using 260 Morgan table, 260 of them were selected as the sample. Standard questionnaires were used to collect information.
The results of the first hypothesis study showed that social intelligence has a positive and significant effect on the conflict resolution strategy. Also, all sub-assumptions related to the original hypothesis were accepted. The second main hypothesis examines the effect of emotional intelligence on the conflict resolution strategy, which was rejected, and only the third and fourth sub-hypotheses related to the second main hypothesis that the positive and significant impact of social consciousness and social-building skills on conflict resolution strategies was accepted.
This research can be inferred that emotional intelligence and social intelligence of students affect the strategies for resolving student conflicts.
