Evaluation of the effectiveness of quality of life therapy on improving the dimensions of love (Commitment, intimacy and desire) Married women
The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of quality of life education training on increasing commitment, desire, passion and marital intimacy. The research was quasi-experimental and the research design was pretest-posttest with experimental and control groups. The statistical population consisted of all married women in Isfahan. The sample of this study included 40 volunteers who were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups. While the control group was on the waiting list, the experimental group received eight 90-minute training package sessions. The research instrument was the Sternberg Love Triangle Scale (Sternberg, 1997). Both groups were evaluated in two stages of pre-test and post-test. Descriptive and inferential statistics (multivariate covariance) were used to analyze the data. The results showed that in the experimental group, after presenting the quality of life therapy training package, commitment did not change significantly, but marital desire and intimacy increased significantly. According to the findings of this study, it can be said that quality improvement education has been a good way to increase the desire and marital intimacy of married women in Isfahan.
