Relationship between coping styles with stress and psychological satisfaction of military personnel in Markazi province

Abstract:
Objective

The police force is one of the most sensitive and stressful jobs. The right way to deal with stress among the military has a significant impact on the quality of performance in the workplace and improving relationships with colleagues. Eventually, it will lead to their psychological satisfaction. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between stress management styles and psychological satisfaction of military personnel.

Method

The statistical population in this study was all employees of the police force of Markazi province, from which 200 people were randomly selected. The present study is descriptive-correlational. Pearson correlation coefficient was used to investigate the relationship, and the predictability of this relationship was examined by regression. Independent T test was used to compare the mean of the unprecedented and long-standing group. The Carver scale was used to measure stress coping styles and the Reef Satisfaction Scale was used to measure psychological satisfaction. Data analysis was also analyzed using SPSS statistical software.

Results

The results showed that coping styles have a positive relationship with positive psychological satisfaction and negative attitudes have a negative relationship with psychological satisfaction. The results of regression also revealed that stress coping styles were explained by Radarindo's ability to predict psychological satisfaction (0.496) from the psychological satisfaction variance by stress coping styles.

Conclusion

The results showed that coping styles in people with a history of unprecedented and unprecedented differences are significant.
