Investigating the relationship between transparency and accountability indicators and controlling corruption on the Legatum welfare index.
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of transparency indicators, government accountability and corruption control on the Legatum welfare index in selected countries (countries in the field of the country's development vision document) during the years 2000 to 2018. For this purpose, the World Bank's statistical data have been used for independent variables and the Legatum Institute data for the Legatum welfare index. The research model has been estimated using panel data technique. The results showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between administrative corruption index and Legatum welfare index. Also, a significant and negative relationship was observed between legal corruption and Legatum welfare index; But there was no significant relationship between political corruption and the Legatum welfare index; There is also a positive and significant relationship between transparency and government accountability indicators and the Legatum welfare index; Therefore, the most important policy recommendation of this study to achieve the goals of the country's vision document is to improve institutional indicators, including improving laws and regulations and accountability structures. And the authority of the local managers and the delegation of authority to them is expressed.
