Abstract:

Bada is one of the most important theological issues that are directly related to the issue of prayer. Bada means the change of divine will and ruling, which is accepted by the Imamiyyah and rejected by the Sunnis. Fakhr Razi in his works denies Bada. The rejection of Bada requires the denial of the role of prayer in human destiny. Fakhr's view of prayer, which is more concerned with the Ebadi dimension, confirms his belief. Fakhr's view of prayer is a matter of worship rather than a factor in changing one's destiny. His most important argument in rejecting Bada relates to his attitude to two theological issues of science and divine will. In this study, the relationship between Bada and prayer has been analyzed by critiquing Fakhr's perspective on the problem of Bada and prayer. Thus, the main question of the research is whether their predominant opinion on Buddha is compatible with the truth of prayer. The results of this study show that there is complete agreement between the theory of Buddhism and prayer and the notion of incompatibility arises from Fakhr Razi's particular theological approach to Bada and prayer.
