Analysis of “the Conceptual Blending” of the Light and the Light’s Manifestations of Ḥaḍrat Qā’im (A) based on Qur’anic Verses

“Conceptual Blending” is one of the semantic linguistic frameworks that places emphasize on emergence and explanation of a newfound concept or structure. This study tries to elaborate the meaning of “the Light” and “the Light’s Manifestations of Ḥaḍrat Qā’im (A)” [Imam Mahdī (A) or the twelfth Imam of the Shi‘a] based on Qur’anic verses through the theory of “Conceptual Blending”. According to Conceptual Blending and data analyzing in this research, it is found that the words: the Light [Arabic: Nūr], the Dawn [Arabic: Fajr], the Day [Arabic: Nahār], the Constellation [Arabic: Burūj] and the Stars [Arabic: Khunnas] under interpretations of hadiths alongside the verses of the Qur’an regarding Ḥaḍrat Qā’im (A), have three proportions in function, status and truth. As their function is that all these words are symbols of life and movement. It means that the universe finds the true way with the help of Ḥaḍrat Qā’im (A) as the one gets rid of night’s darkness with help of stars’ light. Then, his brightness develops when the day appears like the universe continues to reach to the high level of improvement by the light of the day. Another proportion is that appropriateness of position, as this proportion happens in the highest place through the emergence of light of Imamate’s existence among the four elements. Then, fruitfulness of deeds, preservation and promotion of virtues will manifest under the position of this light; the twelfth constellation of the twelve constellations. In addition, all the lights of the universe have a common truth that they considered manifestations of just one source. Inasmuch as all of them are mediators of grace for just one comprehensive principle whose manifestations are the light of the true truth. All these lights play a role both in the establishment of the universe and the system of creation, and also in the formulation of the system of legislation, and in the identification of the Hereafter and the Resurrection.
