Pattern of Reducing the Vulnerability of Industrial Narcotics among the Employees of the Border Guard DutyCase Study: Valiasr Border Training Center
Today, the use of industrial narcotics and its harms is developing and it is also affecting border guards. Therefore, given the rapid development and severity of injuries, the development of research that can reduce the extent and severity of these injuries in terms of individual and collective health of border guards is important and necessary and is one of the concerns of border commanders. The purpose of this study is to investigate the strategies in order to reduce the harm of industrial narcotics among border guards. The method of this research is applied in terms of purpose and field in aspect of data collection and exploratory in terms of nature and type of study. The validity of the questionnaire was approved by border experts. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated and confirmed by Cronbach's alpha equal to 0.903. The statistical population includes 301 high school graduates and bachelors of Hazrat Valiasr (AS) Border Training Center in Zabol who were exposed to industrial narcotics. In accordance with the sampling of special or unique cases, a questionnaire including four main criteria and 16 sub-criteria was purposefully distributed among 100 people. Examination of Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed that the research data did not follow the normal distribution. Finally, the collected data were analyzed by using of descriptive and inferential statistics through Smart PLS software. Findings show that there is a positive and significant relationship between support, training, awareness and counseling strategies for border guards with reducing the harm of industrial narcotics and strengthening each of these factors will reduce the harm of these drugs. However, supporting border guards with its five dimensions is the most effective in reducing the harms of these materials, and counseling, training and awareness are in the next rank.
