An analysis of Environmental Elements affecting on women's security sense in urban spaces (Case Study: Shahre- Rey)
The growth of urbanization, the expansion of urban spaces and consequently, the worsening of the social relations of citizens, has made undermined or weaken the feeling of security and comfort of the citizens. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of environmental factors affecting on women's sense as part of the human capital of society of security. The present research is applied in terms of its purpose and based on the method of data collection with a descriptive-analytical and survey approach that is done with researcher-made questionnaire tool to analysis the effects of environmental and social elements on women's security sense in shahre- Ray. The findings of the study indicate the location of shahre- Ray in the 20th district of Tehran, Old and traditional texture, the high migration of the country, Afghan refugee and Arab refugees in the city, along with the relatively weak urban design caused the women have a sense of relative safety in moving and living in existing urban spaces. Among the elements of urban space, police-supervised spaces have caused the highest sense of security in women and the urban management and design element has had the least sense of security in women in Shahre- Rey. The results of the research indicate management and design of environmental elements in Shahre- Rey should provide a caused for the safe and active presence of women and this need the necessity of urban planner's attention to environmental elements in space of Rey.
