Developing a Support Model for Divorced Children (Case Study: Tehran, 2020)1
Problem statement: Each member of the family goes through a very painful experience after the collapse of the family due to divorce. From these families, sometimes children are left who are exposed to various injuries and tensions and they need support, therefore it is necessary to pay attention to its study. Objective of the research: The present study was conducted in the field of education and research to policy-makers. It intends to provide a scientific basis for future studies in order to support family members (children) suffering from divorce
The present study is a qualitative and data-based method. The participants were 26 children of divorced families who were selected according to their theoretical competence and the use of purposive sampling. Also, semi-structured interviews were used as a tool for collecting research data and the data were analyzed according to a procedure based on the basic theory in three stages of open, selective and axial coding. The results of data analysis of children of divorced families Five determinants of support in line including; 1) Fear of social exclusion and interpellation, 2- Financial threat, 3) Inefficiency and institutional malfunction, 4) Weakness of education, skills and counseling, 5) Threat of stability of the situation has been revealed. Also, the storytelling of supportive policy for the children of divorced families are presented based on the identified and analyzed factors, which can be achieved at the end of the findings in the form of the final model of the research.
