Ranking of the Factors Affecting the Successful Implementation of the Succession System in Yazd Broadcasting

Abstract:
Succession is a way to ensure that there are people who can qualify for various organizational and managerial jobs and positions in the future. But successful planning and implementation of the succession system requires effort and equipping the organization with intelligent talent management strategies. The purpose of this study was to prioritize the factors affecting the successful implementation of the succession system in the Yazd broadcasting. To do this, the research literature was reviewed and Delphi technique was used after identifying the factors, then fuzzy TOPSIS method was used to prioritize the finalized factors. The results show that among the finalized factors, evaluation of capabilities, skills and competencies, and then, commitment to implement the succession program and implementation of a comprehensive system of performance evaluation were ranked respectively. Thus, according to the identified priority of 25 factors, policy makers and those in charge are suggested to formulate convenient and successful strategies.
