Abstract:

One of the main debates among Orientalists in general and Angelica Neuwirth in particular is the question of the  Qur'an's impressionability from earlier sacred texts, the culture of the time, and the sayings of the priests and the literature of the pre-Islamic era. They have also researched the stories of the Qur'an with the same basis and approach. Angelica Neuwirth Author of the article: »Myths and Legends in the Quran«. He is one of those who have studied the historical propositions of the Holy Quran with such a basis and approach. The question of how Dr. Angelica Neuwirth views the stories of the Holy Qur'an is before us. Basically, the accuracy of his studies shows that the author has made a mistake in judging about the stories of the Holy Qur'an due to the interference of presuppositions and methodological errors and the citation and contentment of sources in the works of other Orientalists. Understanding the major flaws in the article and answering to them is something that this research addresses. I n this research, an attempt has been made to answer the main question using a descriptive-analytical method. It can be said with certainty that the article "Myths and Stories in the Qur'an" has some drawbacks in terms of principles, method and source.
