The position of ethnic groups in shaping the political structure and governance of Afghanistan

Among the topics discussed in political geography have been the discussion of ethnic groups, the methods of formation and accumulation of ethnic groups in geographical areas, and the method of their intra-ethnic and extra-ethnic interaction with other ethnic and racial groups. Afghanistan is the central subject of this research, which can be studied, studied and researched within the framework of the above rule and in different geographical dimensions, especially political geography. This descriptive-analytical study seeks to identify the position of ethnic groups in the formation of the political structure and governance of Afghanistan after 2001. The results show that the ethnocentric structure of the past power, backed by the ideology of ethnic nationalism, also fostered tribalism and ethnicism among non-ruling ethnic groups, making ethnicism a natural and widespread phenomenon in all walks of life and causing a crisis. National identity has been established in Afghanistan. Long-term ethnic domination has led to a society in which ethnic norms and interests determine the political behavior of individuals and socio-political groups.In this situation, the basic goal of behavior and actions is ethnicity and the provision of ethnic interests, and political ideologies and methods are accepted and supported to the extent that they serve this purpose, and today the rise of ethnicism is at a high level. We are witnessing the political and administrative structure of post-Taliban governments.
