Identifying Strategic-Indigenous Components of Promoting Knowledge Sharing Motivation Among Faculty Members of Tehran Azad University
The aim of this study was to identify the strategic-indigenous components of promoting motivation to share knowledge among faculty members of the Azad University of Tehran. The method of conducting the research is mixed (qualitative-quantitative).
In order to conduct this research, in addition to documentary study, the content analysis technique with MAXQDA12 software and the Delphi method of SPSS software were used to identify dimensions and components. The statistical population in this study was all experts in the field of educational management and knowledge sharing, which was done after 15 theoretical saturation interviews. In addition, semi-structured interviews with university experts in 2009 were conducted in the form of descriptive, interpretive and selective codes and were examined to determine the validity in two ways (by 4 experts and two colleagues) to determine the reliability of Cohen’s Copa formula ( 0.638) was obtained which indicates high reliability in the qualitative part.
In the first part, 2 main dimensions, 10 components (attitude component, knowledge self-efficacy, trust, emotional commitment, reputation, organizational culture, reward system, information and communication technology and finally management support) and 62 indicators were identified. Also, in 3 rounds of Delphi, dimensions, components and indicators were evaluated to determine the reliability. The second round of 51 indicators to 47 indicators with Kendall coefficient 0.554 and finally in the third round 47 indicators with Kendall coefficient 0.682 were approved.
Based on the results of the quality and validity of the content, in the first stage of Delphi, the dimensions (individual and organizational) were approved by the majority. In the component section, a component (attitude) was removed and the organizational culture component was changed to the knowledge sharing culture component by changing its name.
