Comparison of Personality Traits, Conflict Resolution Styles and Emotional Intelligence in Women with Infidelity and Normal Relationships
The purpose of this study was to compare personality traits, conflict resolution styles, and emotional intelligence women with Infidelity and healthy relationships. The method of this study is Causality-comparative research. The research population included all women with Infidelity and normal relations in Tehran and Alborz.
The sample consisted of 60 women whit Infidelity and healthy relationships (each group was 30). Normal women were selected by the available sampling method, and women whit Infidelity relationships were selected through snowball sampling. Data were collect used to five factors of a personality questionnaire, conflict resolution tactics questionnaire, and emotional intelligence questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the independent t-test. The findings showed that there is a significant difference between the responsibility of two groups of women with Infidelity and healthy relationship (P <0.01).
There is a significant difference between two groups of women with Infidelity and standard components of problem-solving, happiness, stress tolerance, self-esteem, momentum control, self-actualization, accountability, and empathy of emotional intelligence (P <0.01). Also, there is a significant difference between the conflict resolution styles in both groups (P <0.01).
