Prediction of sexual satisfaction based on the processing of emotional information and elements of lovemaking among employed men and women
The present study is conducted to predict sexual satisfaction based on the processing of emotional information and elements of lovemaking among employed men and women who referred to the Public Revolutionary Court.
The target population included all employed women and men who referred to the Public Revolutionary Court in 2016. Using convenience sampling method, 145 subjects (108 females, 36 males) were selected for the current study. For data collection, Larson sexual satisfaction scale, Sternberg's Triangular Love Scale, and Baker’s Emotional Processing were used. Two levels of analysis were carried out: descriptive data analysis such as mean, standard deviation, skewness and stretchiness, and etc.; inferential statistics measurement using multiple regression analysis.
The results showed that lovemaking is a significant determinant of sexual satisfaction at p<0.01 and β=0.333. There is a positive and direct relationship between these two factors, i.e. with increasing level of lovemaking, enhanced sexual satisfaction is predictable.
emotional processing is a significant determinant of sexual satisfaction at p<0.01 and β=0.443 yet there is an indirect and negative relationship between these two factors, i.e. sexual satisfaction decreases as a result of increased issues of emotional processing.
