Investigating the effective factors in implementing Islamic insurance (Takaful) in Mihan insurance company
The main purpose of this study is to identify the factors affecting the implementation of Islamic insurance (Takaful) at the level of homeland insurance. Takaful is a type of insurance to compensate for damages caused by accidents and compeleting interest-free banking system. Takaful Insurance is strengthening its position in the region gradually and increasingly.
This descriptive-exploratory research was conducted using Delphi and interviews with experts. The statistical population of this study includes 30 experts and insurance experts from Mihan Insurance Company. The snowball sampling method was used and continued to the researcher's theoretical saturation. Thirty interviews were conducted using a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed using the adjustment rate. Data were collected using the Delphi method in three steps. Descriptive statistics and Delphi inferential methods were used for data analysis. The SPSS software version 22 was used in descriptive analysis and Mick Mac software version 6 was used in inferential analysis.
After the researcher extracted the required data, the final model was extracted by analyzing the data.
Four factors of insurance services’cost, rules and instructions, statistical research and transparency of provided information are the most important in implementing Takaful insurance at the level of homeland insurance from the perspective of experts. The cost component had the most direct effect among these factors. Suggestions are also presented based on the research results.
