Abstract:

One of the most important issues in the history of ancient Afghanistan is how the Achaemenid Empire flourished in the west and its environs. This issue has not been explained more clearly by historians. On the other hand, recently the findings of archaeologists have not proved the problem to some extent accurately, and at the same time during my studies and research and sometimes while teaching I was faced with the question of whether the Achaemenids were in the west and its environs. Did they rule? And how was their presence. Therefore, this article seeks to show how important it was for them to study the historical sources of Achaemenid rule and their attention to the West. The objectives of this article show the relationship between the Achaemenid Empire and the West. As a result, it was found that the West and its areas are part of the Achaemenid Empire and during the Achaemenid rule, this place was conquered several times by the rulers of that empire.
