A Comparative Survey on the Causes of Tendency to Social & Satellite Networks for Receiving News ( Case Study: Ardabil’s Audiences)
This research is opting to survey the effective factors on Ardabil’s audience who receive news via social networks in comparison to satellite networks. The methodology of the research surveys and it has applied questionnaire technic. The statistical population of the research is Ardabil’s citizens above 18 years old who use social & satellite networks. Sampling has been done according to Cochran’s formula with 400 persons. This is done by multistage cluster & random sampling. The outcome of the research shows that respondents prefer to receive news from social & satellite networks. On the contrary, satellite news has been preferred for features such as trust-building, accuracy, transparency, speed of circulation, impartiality, uncensored, and a variety of subjects that audiences are looking for.
