The Effectiveness of Quality –of- Life based training with Islamic Orientation on the Self-Efficacy and Happiness of the second - year Students in Girls’ Secondary Schools
The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of quality –of- life Islamic orientation to on the happiness, self-efficacy of the second-year students in Borujen secondary school for girls. The statistical population of this semi-experimental study is 1270 female high school students in Borujen 36 of whom were selected students by random cluster sampling method and are randomly divided into two groups: experimental and control. The experimental group did on Islamic quality -of –life training course consting of(IS-QOLT) ten ninety minute sessions. The data were analyzed by using SPSS-18 software and the variance analysis test was performed by making repeated measurements. The results show that Islamic quality- of -life training has a significant effect on increasing the rate of the happiness and self-efficacy (p <0.05) of the experimental group. Therefore, it can be said: that the spiritual dimension especially within the frame of religion according to a holistic and integrated view of man can contribute to the effectiveness of the interventions especially in the field of positive psychology.
