Models and skills-based strategies of the virtual education system in the comprehensive scientific-applied university
The rise of the information society has posed fundamental questions for the higher education system. The World Wide Web and the Internet have created innovative and revolutionary methods of education. New information and communication technologies have changed the way we learn and, in general, how to live, and have introduced new ways of exchanging knowledge and information. These technologies can be used to strengthen or replace existing higher education systems. Accordingly, information and communication technology plays a key role in improving the quality of higher education and is the basis of sustainable competitive advantage for higher education institutions in general and the University of Applied Sciences in particular.
